As soon as Stranger Things season 4 volume 2 hit our platform and we are done binging it, we will get nothing more of the Hawkins mayhem. Yes, it sounds sad. But it is what it is. We will have to accept the reality and move on. For now, we can only pray that Vecna does not cause many disasters to the town’s people. They have seen enough suffering, and they deserve to live a peaceful life. We are all counting on Eleven and friends to lift Vecna’s curse. She went on to say how the show needs to take the mindset of Game of Thrones.

Matt Duffer also mentioned how they had experimented with it all in the writers’ room. He then explained that it would be so depressing to kill Mike at this point, saying, “Just as a complete hypothetical, if you kill Mike [Finn Wolfhard], it’s like… that’s a depressing… we aren’t Game of Thrones. This is Hawkins, it’s not Westeros. The show becomes not Stranger Things anymore, because you do have to treat it realistically, right?”

However, we now know one thing for sure: Some of our favorite characters will die. Both the actors and directors confirmed that there are more deaths on the table. So all we can do right now is wait for the finale and make ourselves strong enough to handle such a big loss.
