Les Miserables star Joseph Quinn got his breakthrough role of Eddie Munson in Stranger Things season 4. The British actor has been working on Television for a long time starring in shows like Strike and Howards End. But no show has brought him the fame and love that he attained through Netflix’s sci-fi drama. While the majority of viewers aren’t ready to accept that they won’t see the beloved metal head in the next season, one particular hardcore fan helped Quinn in the time of need. In his conversation with Jimmy Fallon, he revealed another fan story that saved him at the US airport.

An airport officer rescued Joseph Quinn on US Immigration from detainment

The official page of The Tonight Show shared an interview video of Joseph Quinn on Twitter. The post stated the incident that the actor shared with Jimmy Fallon that he was stopped by airport staff. When he arrived a day before in America to meet Fallon in the studio. He asked if everyone that has ever been to the secondary inspection.

In his Eddie style, he called the area “Dungeon” where he waited for 20 minutes. Afterward one of the officers interrogated him that what is the reason for his visit to America. To which he replied:

‘Well, I’m actually here to meet Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show,’ and he didn’t believe me.”

Fortunately, at that moment another officer recognized him from Stranger Things. He said “Leave Eddie alone,” and asked Quinn “Do you come back next season?” That’s how the actor was able to enter the US.

Joseph was thrilled to see how fans have connected to the character of Eddie Munson. They even started adressing him by that name while they also protect him like the officer did. Moreover, Quinn gifted the host a hellfire club tshirt that the Eddie fandom has treasured most. Jimmy Fallon amusingly said taking the tshirt that “I’ll wear this through immigration, it’ll be fantastic”.
