Many people overlook the wisdom in the series because of the comedy and drama. However, Cobra Kai has some powerful quotes, which will give you a new perspective on a lot of things.

Different perceptions of “No Mercy” in Cobra Kai

“No Mercy” is a part of the motto of Cobra Kai “Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy.” But the characters also use it as quotes. It started with John Kreese, and Johnny adopted it when he opened his dojo. Johnny taught ‘No Mercy’ to his students, but he soon realized the drawbacks.

But not everyone has the same perspective as Daniel. Tory, for instance, has to deal with a lot of things, so for her, ‘No Mercy’ is a way of life that helps her survive. The following quote explains the same:

Cobra Kai has three senseis Daniel, Johnny, and Kreese, and each of them has its own distinct ways. We start with the hot-headed Johnny Lawrence, who might be crude on the outside, but has the best intentions at heart.

Kreese has an evil reputation, but the man has served in Vietnam. In season 5, Kreese could change for better as he did not force Tory to play dirty in the tournament.
