During the Platinum Jubilee, Queen Elizabeth’s not having much time with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter Lilibet has caught the attention of a lot of us. Lilibet, who’s named after the Queen’s great-grandmother, didn’t get even a photograph with Her Majesty. There have been so many talks about the same. Regarding the meeting between the couple and the Queen, the royal expert Jonathan Sacerdoti cleared the doubts. However, there were no photographs, but the couple met with the Queen with their daughter, confirmed Jonathan.

The brevity of time surprised the royal fans and gave them the feeling of the tension between the Queen and the couple. However, the concerns heightened because the Queen had to wait a long to meet little Lilibet and the couple lives far from home now. According to Jonathan, it is not the whole truth.

“She was working very hard to maintain her strength. I think it’s totally understandable that she was saving her energy as best she could for all the events that she wanted to be at if she possibly could,” explained the royal expert. This statement seems fair considering the Queen skipped several events at the Jubilee, along with avoiding many public appearances.

He says that considering the age of the Queen and little Lilibet; it is common sense to keep the meeting short. “We’re talking about someone in their 90s and a baby,” says Jonathan. He says that people in the so-called prime years of their lives need a nap after an hour of extreme socializing with new people. Jonathan makes a point and says that Lilibet’s hour-long meeting with Her Majesty seems fair if considering these facts.
