It was a huge week for the United Kingdom. The Queen had just completed her 70 glorious years on the throne but more than that. This week marked the first time in almost two years after renouncing their royalty that Meghan and Harry returned to the UK. Their decision to attend the Jubilee celebration was received with mixed reactions. With many speculating if they would film any footage for their supposed Netflix show.
The Queen and her royal staff made it very clear from the beginning that any Netlfix crew member filming would not be welcomed at the celebration. However, a new source suggests that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex might be filming some footage themselves.
Are Meghan and Harry shooting for Netflix?
Netflix was previously revealed to have been handed the ultimate royal blow. The streaming service was not authorized for accreditation over the weekend despite Harry and Meghan’s agreement with the corporation.
However, Meghan’s former friend alleges the couple may have captured personal videos to share with the streaming giant.
In an interview with DailyStar, Lizzie said, “Let’s wait for the Netflix show that comes out. I’m sure we’ll see far more than The Queen or the other Royals would want on there.”
She went on to say that the real motive of the couple for attending the celebration was to give some footage to Netflix. And not to take part in Queen’s celebration.
“I don’t think it’s for The Queen, “I think it’s for Netflix, for the money,” is what Lizzie had to say. The television personality even said that Netflix, despite being banned at the celebration, “will find a way.”
Lastly, to end her comments, Lizzie mentioned that according to her, The Royals are “more worried about Meghan than [Prince] Andrew.”
It is for certain that Netflix has been a hot topic of debate at the Jubilee Celebrations. But if something is to really come out of the former royals, one will have to wait and see.
