What a year was 2016. We had just completed Man of Steel and were getting ready to take the next step into the SnyderVerse with Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice. Fast forward almost eight years. Who knew back then it was one of the last times we would see Henry Cavill as Superman?
It certainly was a treat for viewers to watch Henry dawn the red cape and pick up the mantle of the Man of Steel. Even his interviews and promotional campaigns for the films were incredible. A toddler teaches Henry Cavill the right way to punch
in 2016 WB did everything in its power to make Batman v Superman a hit. The promotional for the movie included a series of fun interviews, among many other things. One such innovative interview saw Henry Cavill trying to convince young toddlers that Superman was better than Batman.
During his effort to establish Superman as the superior, he asked the children who would win if the two got in a fight. A young boy replied by saying Superman would have to get some updates and volunteered to teach Henry a “tornado kick.”

According to the boy the move goes like this, “you go for the face, and then you do that (imitating a punch) right in the peanuts.” Seeing rather surprised by the move, Henry was shocked and called the punch an effective way to win.
Continuing in the video, Henry also asks the children whom they want to spend their time with Batman and Superman. And to Henry’s happiness, many children chose Superman. Since the video is seven years old and we all have seen how the movie ends, we can say with quite an assurance that Henry did not “tornado kick” Ben Affleck’s Batman in the end. Although it would have made the film ten times cooler.
