Peaky Blinders Season 6: Here’s What The Lost Son Got to Say About The Season’s Acme
The violence, flat caps, guns, and the horses. The Birmingham burr, contemporary music, the gloomy oppressiveness, and so much more. Indeed, this is the legacy of the Peaky Blinders. As the series concluded itself in season 6, the Shelbys are already nostalgic, and so are we. And while there’s a whole movie already in production; fans are having a hard time accepting the fact that they will see no more of this melodrama on BBC.
Furthermore, it was rather phenomenal to watch the family dynamics of the Shelbys. In Peaky Blinders season 6, we meet an unexpected character who plays a significant role. Yes, that’s none other than Tommy’s long-lost son, Duke Shelby. Conrad Khan, who played the role, recently talked with Digital Spy about the show’s climax. Let’s see what he got to say.

Apparently, it’s not just the fans who think the show could have ended differently, Conrad too thought that things could have ended in any other way but this. He said, “I think they tied together a lot of the plot points well. It’s not completely… it’s not like everything’s come to a halt. There are still things at the end that could go off in different directions.”
Further, he also made a close relationship with the two Shelby brothers, Harry Kirton (Finn Shelby) and Daryl McCormac (Isiah Jesus). The BAFTA Rising star nominee has had many scenes with the two in season 6. He also had an excellent experience working with Cillian Murphy, the father himself.
Within three major scenes with Tommy, he knew Cillian is made to play the character. “It was amazing to see how he works, and how serious he takes it, and how much he embodies Tommy,” Khan mentioned. “You know, he is Tommy for those six months or eight months that they’re filming. That was impressive to see.”

Conrad had an amazing time on the Peaky Blinders set. Being a new bee, there was this constant fear of getting judged by the fans and the co-stars, but he did a great job. “The response has been amazing. And it’s scary, right? Because it’s a show that’s been going on for so long, and people feel so connected to the characters,” He mentioned while talking to Digital Spy.
Duke Shelby is not a big fan of social media
If you were already crushing over the long-lost son of Thomas Shelby, this might be bad news for you. Conrad, like the leading man, doesn’t have a Twitter account and has only returned to Instagram to promote the show, but he says his addition to the cast has been well received by fans.
