Ryan Reynolds is the king of marketing as he showed up on the sets of Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon instead of Will Ferrell. But instead of talking about his then Netflix project Red Notice, he indeed went home after promoting his good friend Will’s Apple TV+ The Shrink Next Door. But he didn’t just promote the show but had the host and the audience cracking up with his jokes and jabs at a fellow actor, Paul Rudd!

Ryan Reynolds spills the beans about Paul Rudd’s de-aging process and says he has a deal with Satan

Ryan refused to answer any personal questions or promote Red Notice that he himself was starring in alongside Dwyane Johnson and Gal Gadot. The 2021 comedy heist film saw FBI profiler, Johnson pair up with Ryan’s thief character to catch another elusive thief, Gal Gadot. The movie received lukewarm reviews but pulled incredible numbers on the premiere weekend.

When Jimmy tried to get him to talk about the movie, he threatened him, “If you bring up Red Notice you will taste the back of my hand.” And then he proceeded to come up with a ridiculous storyline for Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd starrer, The Shrink Next Door. Apparently it’s an Ant-Man sequel where Paul is the Shrink who minimizes himself in relationships and his kids. Ryan Reynolds also took playful jabs at Rudd for his youthful looks. He mentioned that Rudd either has a deal with Satan or drinks a blue whale’s breast milk!

Given the numbers it achieved, it was bound to get the green light. And not only one but two sequels are coming. Netflix plans to begin production in 2023 so the film will arrive sometime later that year. Writer-director Rawson Marshall is back on board and is reportedly working on the script.

Since the climax revealed that Dwayne’s Hartley was working with Gal Gadot’s The Bishop all along. Booth was hell-bent on getting back at them and he did. He ruined that vacation and instead lured them into another heist.

Will this heist be a smooth ride? We’ll have to wait and watch.
