Fans were hoping for The Gray Man actor to make a comeback in the third season, but he straightaway denied the possibilities in his recent interview.
Speaking to Variety, Regé-Jean Page confirmed that he has no plans for returning and that Netflix can replace him with anyone they want. At the beginning of season two, the show explained the reason behind the absence of Simon in brief. However, it is believed that the producers are searching for an ideal candidate to replace Page.
“And so, because we came around full circle so well, you’re left with this great feeling. You really do have to be brave about ending stories like that,” Regé-Jean Page added.
