A woman on Twitter posted a post of appreciation when her child got to enter the football field along with Mullin before the match. Ryan replied, assuring that little Carter is in safe hands.

The reply was to alisonnjanee’s Twitter post whose caption came with a video clip of Wrexham team players walking in, with Mullin and little Carter entering at the end, as the player is seen picking Carter up. Little Carter is a big Wrexham fan, which is apparent from the posts on the profile managed by his mother. He is also a Mullin fan, and this opportunity is a special relief to the child as he has suffered from cerebral palsy. Paul also made a video call to the boy once, wishing him on his birthday.
