“We’re going to be back!” Simone Ashley Confirms Kate and Anthony’s Return in Bridgerton season 3

We loved the duo in the latest season and definitely wanted more of them in the next one. So, it is time to check if this little piece of gossip is in fact the truth.
The push and pull chemistry between Anthony and Kate in season 2 has really impressed us. But, as we know, this is the end of Kate and Anthony’s story and the beginning of another Bridgerton sibling. It can be Benedict, Colin, or Eloise. Shonda Rhimes has already warned us that Bridgerton season 3 can bring anything to the screen.

Simone Ashley on Bridgerton season 3
Netflix had hosted a dinner in Los Angeles to celebrate the South Asian culture, which was attended by Simone Ashley for obvious reasons. Other celebrities who attended include Kal Penn, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Poorna Jagannathan, Richa Moorjani, Sujata Day, Lilly Singh, Sophia Ali, and Anurima Bhargava.
It was during this dinner that Ashley shared this good news with Deadline. “We’re going to be back! Kate and Anthony are just getting started,” said the actress.
She goes on to say how in season 2 had a lot of push and pull between Kate and Anthony, owing to family complications, before they got together. So, in season 3 the Sex Education actress wishes to see Kate “let go a bit more and play more … and kind of swim in that circle of love together.”

Being the lady of the house, Kate will likely play a supportive role in the upcoming Bridgerton season, while still exploring marital bliss with Anthony.
Viewers loved Anthony and Kate together in the series. However, Ashley promises the Viscountess will thrive on her own. She explains Kate is now the lady of the Bridgerton household, and she got some big shoes to fill in. But Ashley still wants to keep the softness and vulnerability of Kate. “I’m just excited for her to have a home and to have a family. I’m excited to see her grow. I think I’d like to see Kate being much braver and less headstrong and more heart strong,” shared the 27-year-old actress.

Season 2’s last episode marked the end of Kate and Anthony’s story and the beginning of another Bridgerton sibling. It can be Benedict, Colin, or Eloise. Shonda Rhimes has already warned us that Bridgerton season 3 can bring anything to the screen. With all the rumors surrounding the upcoming season, with some wishing for Polin and others asking for Benedict, season 3 of Bridgerton is surely keeping us on our toes. However, we can sleep in peace knowing the Viscount and Viscountess will be there.
