And the list of such actors is incomplete without Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. The famous frenemies have never failed to keep the fans entertained with their fake feuds. As of late, both Reynolds and Jackman are gearing up for the Deadpool 3 release. And are you also eagerly waiting for the movie?

Deadpool 3 is one of the most anticipated projects of the forthcoming year. The hype surrounding the movie is unreal and fans from over the world are excited to see the Merc with a mouth back on screen. However, the movie is still a couple of months away. 1) X-Men (2000)

This Hugh Jackman starrer dating back to 2000 was the first movie to feature him as Wolverine. The story takes you through the journey of Wolverine and Rogue joining the X-Men for the first time. It also features Anna Paquin as Rogue and Ian McKellen as Magento. The film follows the first conflict between Wolverine and Rogue against Magento and Professor X.

2) X2: X-Men United (2003)

Following the back story of Wolverine, the film takes you to the first time Wolverine crossed paths with Colonel William Stryker. The movie digs deeper into the Wolverine’s backstory. While the cast is almost the same as X-Men, Alan Cumming makes his debut as NightCrawler.

3) X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)

X-Men: The Last Stand first made its way to our screens back in 2006. Loosely based on two X-Men comics, the film tests the mutants as it leaves them in a dilemma. They either have to give up their powers and live as humans or retain their powers, but isolate themselves from the humans. It all happens when a laboratory finds a cure for a mutation.

4) X-Men Origins: Wolverine(2009)

The movie first made released in 2009. For all those who are in doubt after watching X2, this film will answer all your questions. X-Men Origins will take you through the entire story of Wolverine all the way back to 1845. The film also marks Ryan Reynolds’ first appearance as Wade Wilson a.k.a. Deadpool.

5) X-Men: First Class(2011)

This story takes place in the 60s. Owing to the timeline, the film features a completely new and younger cast. It takes us to the roots of X-Men and the fallout of the friendship between Magneto and Professor.

6) The Wolverine (2013)

For all those who missed Hugh Jackman, this is where the star returns to our screens. Interestingly, this film mostly focuses on Wolverine and will take you through his solo adventures in Japan.

7) X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)

This X-Men movie is where the time-bending concept comes in. Unlike most films, the film begins in 2023. As things get a little chaotic for X-Men, Wolverine is sent back in time. That is when the crossover between Wolverine and the version of First Class takes place.

8) Deadpool (2016)

Deadpool was the first movie that introduced the world to Ryan Reynolds as the Merc With a Mouth. While Deadpool did make an appearance in X-Men Origins, Reynolds turns it into his own series. Furthermore, do not expect a friendly relationship between Deadpool and Wolverine just because they have met before. The movie is incredibly hilarious and joke-filled.

9) X-Men: Apocalypse (2016)

X-Men: Apocalypse is one of the rare X-Men films without Hugh Jackman. Introducing the world to Sophie Turner as Jean Grey and Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, the film will take you through the time when the immortal Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) became the most powerful mutant. As he brings together other mutants to create a new world order, the future of the planet depends on the young X-Men team.

10) Logan (2017)

This is where things started taking a sad turn. As Wolverine gets older and nears the end of his life, another girl with the same powers as Wolverine shows up. While caring for an ailing Professor X, Jackman must also protect this young girl and fight the forces that want to harm her. Sadly, the film also features the death of Wolverine.

11) Deadpool 2

Deadpool 2, the 2016 action comedy movie, features some top-class action scenes as Wade Wilson teams up with Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead. They must fight a time-traveling mercenary from killing a young mutant, Russell.

Not long ago, Reynolds announced the comeback of Jackman as Wolverine in Deadpool 3. However, it is unclear how the studio plans to bring the dead Wolverine back to life. Meanwhile, Jackman too dropped a major hint about Wolverine’s timeline in Deadpool 3.
