September was the month of excitement! Before the year 2022 ended, Deadpool fans got the biggest news ever. As one of the strongest superheroes, Wolverine is coming back in Deadpool 3, Hugh Jackman couldn’t be more excited. Previously, the actor had said he would not play Wolverine again. He also rejected several requests from Ryan Reynolds. But in the end, he said yes to the character and he will be back. While everyone was wondering about how they would revive Wolverine after burying him in Logan, the Wolverine himself has a spoiler for you. 

The 2017 film, Logan saw the death of Wolverine. Although there are several questions about the revival of the dead character, death is a little twisted thing in the comic books world. Hugh Jackman threw light on the timeline of the film

Because the last film starring Wolverine saw the end of the character, getting permission to revive the character from the director of the film is necessary. When Logan director James Mangold got to know the timeline of Deadpool 3, he was happy to give the character his blessings. In his interview with Empire, the X-Men star opened up about how Mangold blessed the character and actor to go ahead with Deadpool 3.

He said when he assured Mangold of not messing up the entry of Wolverine by coming out of the grave, Mangold was relieved by that. Then how would he return? Well, while that is still a mystery, we know the timeline of Deadpool 3.

In his interview, the 54-year-old actor revealed the film would take place before their film, Logan. Logan is the tenth film in the X-Men film series and the third and final installment in the Wolverine trilogy. The first two are X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) and The Wolverine (2013). While taking inspiration from the “Old Man Logan” comic storyline by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven, the film sees Wolverine dying peacefully in the arms of Laura in the third and last installment.
