American rapper, Meghan Thee Stallion recently proclaimed her love for Netflix’s sci-fi hit, Stranger Things. The series that follows a group of teenagers in Hawkins High as they investigate some weird events plaguing their town debuted in 2017. Season 4 just dropped this year after a gap of 3 years. Upon its release, not only did the series break records but it made history when Netflix servers crashed on the premiere night. One of the show’s leading stars, Natalie Dyer appeared on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where she discussed her arc with the rapper.
Meghan Thee Stallion appreciates the long episodes of Stranger Things
Before the premiere of season 4, the Duffer brothers had promised longer episodes and they kept their word. Each episode clocked in at 1 hour or more. The last two episodes in Volume 2 were longer, almost movie length. Fans really appreciated the longer episodes after such a long wait and so did Meghan. The rapper disclosed that 30 minutes episodes don’t satisfy her. She needs longer content to sink her teeth into and the runtime of Stranger Things this season was perfect for her.

“Shows that are 30 minutes, I’m upset. I need you to make this a production the whole way through so I can stay hooked,” she said to Natalie Dyer.

Stallion is a bigger Steve fan than even Shawn Levy. After talking about how she appreciated the length of this season, she went straight into her gripes with Natalie’s arc. She wasn’t happy with Nancy dumping Steve with “no caution” at all.
In Steve’s defense, she said, “Y’all keep throwing the kids on him to babysit. He keeps saving y’all life. All he is doing is save y’all life.” The American rapper is a true Stancy stan and is happy with the bit of progress the two have made in season 4! Oh, and she also wants Barb back like the rest of us.
We think it’s time to send her an invite to the Hellfire Club. What do you think?
