It is almost like a daily practice now; we wake up, look for any update regarding the filming and production of The Witcher Season 3, and then, disappointed, we head back to bed at the end of the day. But it looks like celebrations are finally arriving for the fans of the Netflix fantasy drama series. As the production team for the show is finally assembling at one of the locations of the shoots.

The third season of the drama series is finally taking shape, and as things stand, the production for the same will begin shortly. Wondering what is going on with the series? Here is everything we know about the production of The Witcher.

The Witcher Season 3 arrives in Slovenia

As per Redanian Intelligence, the cast and crew of the Netflix Original are already assembling in North Slovenia. What is more interesting is that some of the local folks even said that show leads Henry Cavill and Freya Allan are already there. While no other information is available about any other actor from the cast; we do eagerly wait to get further updates. We already know that a lot of new cast members are to join the team now. However, none of them have been seen at the locations.

Reportedly, the filming for The Witcher will take place around Kranjska Gora. Redanian Intelligence also shared some images of the production trucks from the location. After they are done filming at Kranjska Gora, the team will probably move to Postojna. But Predjama Castle near Postojna will remain close on April 5. Which rather beautifully overlaps with The Witcher’s time in the region. However, it is not confirmed yet that they will shoot the show at this location.

As reported back in February, the show will be filmed in three different countries this season. While we already know the first is going to be Slovenia, the Witcher Clan will move to Croatia. The filming in Croatia will take place on Krk Island and somewhere around the town of Pula. However, no updates are available about the show’s schedule in Italy. Some say that it is going to be South Tyrol, but no specific place has been mentioned and South Tyrol is a pretty cast region.
