Making a movie or a TV show is not a one-man job. It takes the culmination effort of the whole team to make something worthwhile truly. So naturally, a show like Ozark was certainly not made by one. Over the years, the hit show has seen many talented individuals coming and giving their best to the show, apart from the main cast of Jason Bateman and Laura Linney.

But now that the show is finally reached its end, many have come forward to thank three individuals for helping the show attain its huge success. Even Laura Linney has thanked and given credit to three people for the popularity of the show. Let us find out who they are.

Laura Linney feels three people made Ozark what it is

Jason Bateman has had tremendous input in the creative decisions of Ozark. The guy, apart from acting captivatingly, also directed and had a huge say in the writing process.

His contribution to the show is considered massive to the scale Laura counts him as one of the major reasons for the show’s success. In the farewell video to Ozark, Laura talks about the three people who made Ozark great.

And the first name she took was Jason’s. Not just Laura but Julia, who received immense praise and recognition for playing Ruth, said that Jason was the best director she had worked with.

Apart from Jason, the two other men on Laura’s list were Patrick Markey, show producer, and Chris Mundy, the showrunner. The crew of the show also agrees with Laura on the genius of Mundy.

All of them in say in the video that it was Mundy, who was the real mind behind the show and the “architect” of it all. And as for Patrick, Laura “blames” him and Jason for pushing her into directing an episode of the show. An experience she says she absolutely loved.
