Sometimes we love a character, but we can not connect with them on a deeper level. The same thing happened with the Stranger Things star, Millie Bobby Brown. Just like us, she also grew up watching Disney shows and films. Although there were so many interestingly amazing characters portrayed by skilled actors, the Enola Holmes star couldn’t connect with them.

Cartoons and films have a deep impact on our lives as we grow up. Scooby-Doo, Tom and Jerry, High School Musical, and so forth are the shows which have a long-lasting spell on our hearts. Many times it would have happened that you loved the character and you still love them, but you felt and feel no connection with them. It is because you love them for who they are and not for your reflection on them. But that missing connection is always there. That’s what happened with Millie Bobby Brown, as she explained in an interview.

However, Enola Holmes sounded much like her, and thus she could resonate with her easily. The young actress saw Enola as a role model she never had as she was growing up. Therefore, she could see her great qualities along with the bad qualities in Enola Holmes. Thus, she loved implementing the parts of herself in the film’s character.

That doesn’t mean she didn’t love Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus at all. It just meant she derived motivation from those actresses while loving them and learning from them. According to Millie Bobby Brown, Enola Holmes has layers and is not perfect, and that’s what people love to watch because it is truthful.
