Stranger Things Creators Warn Fans to Be “Concerned” About Steve Harrington’s Fate in the Upside Down
Stranger Things Volume 1 aired after nearly more than two years. And boy was the wait worth it. The season was the most intense of all seasons so far. The gang is at more risk than ever before, but one particular character’s fate is up in the air. Steve Harrington, the designated babysitter at Hawkins, has put himself in danger yet again. He has done so previously as well, but this time with Vecna on the loose, it is going to get a lot more challenging for him to escape the hellscape. Will the jock-turned babysitter make it to the end of Stranger Things season 4? Here’s what you should know going into the finale of the sci-fi series.
Stranger Things season 4: What will happen to Steve?
Volume 1 ended with Steve and Nancy stuck the Upside Down. While the older teenagers were looking for the Water Gate, Steve got sucked into it. The gang entered the Upside Down to save Steve from the preying Demobats. They were about to escape the Upside Down by climbing a makeshift rope in Eddie’s Upside Down trailer when Nancy fell into a trance. Many are worried about Steve’s fate and the Duffer brothers have given more reason for the fans to panic.

Steve isn’t just the fan-favorite but Shawn Levy had stated previously that he would leave the show if they kill off Steve. This had assured the fans of Steve’s fate, but it seems the Duffer brothers have other plans.
Steve quickly became a beloved character in the series after his turning point in season 1. Since then he struck a friendship with the gang, especially Dustin. Fans loved his mother hen image, and he continues to take care of the kids to his chagrin in Stranger Things 4.
