Ryan Reynolds Reveals the Hardest Part of Working in Upcoming Movie ‘Spirited’ and It’s Not Singing
Ryan Reynolds had not starred in another movie after The Adam Project on Netflix. It has been quite some months since then and fans of the Canadian actor are clamoring for another project from him. Well, you can argue that his Welcome to Wrexham is streaming on Hulu. However, that is a docuseries.
Nevertheless, fans do not have to wait for long because the Aviation Gin owner is soon going to make a comeback to the screens in Spirited. He is ushering in the Christmas season with a modern musical of A Christmas Carol with Will Ferrell. On the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the actor revealed that while it was a joy to film the series, he was afraid of doing a Will impression.

Ryan Reynolds was afraid of disappointing Will Ferrell with his impression of him
Spirited is the first musical of Ryan’s career. He had not done one before. So it was a surprise for both the actor and the fans that he was singing and dancing in the movie. However, for the 6 Underground star, the dancing, and the singing was not the toughest part of the movie. Instead, it was stopping him from constantly doing an impression of Will or saying the lines exactly as him.
“The hardest challenge of Spirited was not just singing and dancing and all the other stuff. It was to not do an impression of Will Ferrell to f***ng Will Ferrell,” disclosed Ryan Reynolds. Furthermore, the actor “ached” all these years to work with him and called him the greatest comedic actor who has contributed to the modern comedy lexicon.

Ryan’s wish has finally come true. In fact, both of his wishes had come true. He had hoped to film a movie with Wade and Logan for a long time. And now that Hugh Jackman is onboard, it’s finally happening!

The Apple+ TV’s Spirited is based on Charles Dickens’s 1843 novel, A Christmas Carol. Will plays Ghost of the Christmas Present while Ryan plays Scrooge.
