Ryan Reynolds Once Again Praises His Football Club’s Player After the Team’s Match With Maidenhead United
Despite being a titan of the film business, Ryan Reynolds is keenly loyal to the Welsh football team he owns. The 46-year-old takes the same amount of interest in his profession as he does in Wrexham AFC, the football club he co-acquired with actor Rob McElhenney in 2020. The actor just gave a great example of how he supports his team and team members on Instagram.
Wrexham played a very important National League match with Maidenhead United on March 4. After the game ended in a 2-2 tie with Maidenhead, the Deadpool actor took to his Instagram story and praised the team’s goalkeeper, Mark Howard. Reynolds wrote, “We win together. We draw together. @MARKHOWARD.1 has put in the work this season,” as he shared a post from Howard’s account on his story.

The message by the Canadian-American actor felt so heartwarming and displayed that he did not buy the team just for the sake of investment. He treats his team members as family, the greatest example of which is the documentary he created on them, Welcome to Wrexham. While the Instagram story by the Red Notice actor seems like a nice gesture, there is a catch behind it.
Did Ryan Reynolds post the story just to praise Howard or is there something else?

Wrexham began with a good start and was ahead 2-1, almost on the verge of winning the match. But, in the last few minutes of the game, it became extremely thrilling when Howard had to fill in for the primary goalkeeper of the team, Rob Lainton, as he was sick.
Sadly, the replacement of their star goalkeeper came at a huge cost for the Welsh football club, as due to his replacement, Maidenhead was able to score and ultimately end the game in a tie. Losing an almost-won match was a huge blow for the team as well as its supporters, and it was natural that Howard was going to receive a lot of criticism.

That is when the Free Guy actor came into the play and rescued him by posting in support of him and giving everyone a message that he stands strong with his team no matter what. This gave a powerful message to all the critics and also displayed the 46-year-old’s love for his team.
