With less than a month standing between us and the final seven episodes of Ozark Season 4 Part 2, we are anything but calm. There is literally a plethora of things that we are thinking and talking about. The first part of the last season was chaotic, and as things happened in those seven episodes, the finale is set to be even more diabolical. And we all know such an amazing setup for a series leads to fan theories. And that is what we will talk about today.

Well, the big players for Ozark Season 4 Part 2 will be Marty, Wendy, Ruth, and Javi. And it is no surprise that all of them, along with the series, are loved by every single person who watches the show. Hence, it is predictable that fans will try to predict the events of the finale. That is why there are a plethora of fan theories going around among people. And today, we will talk about some of the most prominent ones.

The car accident and will the Byrdes’ survival in Ozark Season 4 Part 2?

One of the most talked-about things from the last season of Ozark is the car accident that we see in the very first episode of the season. Now, there have been many theories regarding this accident. Many believe that it is actually a flash-forward. This means the accident actually happens at the end of the series. And even though Byrdes survived Javi and Ruth, a car accident eventually took them out; which, to be honest, is irony at its peak.

Another theory about the accident states that it is actually a setup. The Byrdes have been working with the FBI ever since season 4 began. Hence, this can very well be their way out of Ozark, while making everyone believe they are dead. People have pointed out that the truck that causes the accident is actually on the wrong side of the road, and doesn’t even bother to save the car in front of it. There have been a lot of talks about the truck actually setting out to kill the Byrdes, which brings us to our next theory.

One (or more) of the Byrdes will die

Many have talked about how at least one of the family members will die in the season finale. A lot of fans have claimed that it will indeed by Wendy who will not make it alive from Ozark. Given she has been involved in plenty of crimes and also the mental toll of her brother’s murder, it will be her who eventually takes that eventual fall. There is also a theory that suggested that Marty will actually die at the end, as it is his only escape.

Another theory suggests that Ruth will die in this season and it will be Three who will drive the truck and lay waste to the Byrdes. After all, he has good enough reason to do that, given Marty is the reason his family died. Another theory suggests that Charlotte will kill her brother Jonah when he becomes a hindrance in the family business. In a nutshell, Everyone believes the Byrde blood will be shed in Ozark Season 4 Part 2.

Ozark Season 4 Part 2 will finally reveal who Mel Sattem is working for

We were introduced to Mel Satten in the fourth season of the show. While we are told that he is looking for information about Helen Pierce, few actually believe that it is true. A great number of fans believe he is actually working for drug lord Omar Navarro. As per the theory, Mel is actually the eyes and ears for Omar on the ground, and that is how he knew where Marty and Wendy hid Charlotte and Jonah.

However, some fans believe he is actually working with the FBI, particularly with Maya Miller. As we have seen, the duo talking on call in the last episode of Ozark Season 4 Part 1. And given that Maya arrested Omar against the will of her seniors, she will truly need a friend out there who helps her discover the secrets of the cartel.

Maybe Ben still lives?

Yes, we know Marty burned Ben’s body at the crematorium, but did he though? Ozark has been pretty consistent with showing the face of every person who dies. However, we never actually saw the face of his dead body. This has led many fans to believe that Omar actually spared the life of Wendy’s brother and has actually held onto him.

As per the theory, Omar has kept ben in his custody to use him as leverage against the Byrdes. And boy oh boy, is this interesting!
