As a result, the majority of the filming for Ozark happened at Lake Allatoona and Lake Lanier in Atlanta, instead of the Lake of Ozarks. However, a tiny part of the views has been used from the Lake of Ozarks compared to the extensive filming carried out in Atlanta.

Other locations involved were the Westview Cemetery’s Mausoleum and Abbey, at 1680 Westview Drive South-West in the city, and Eagle Rock Studios Atlanta, which is at 6205 Best Friend Road in Norcross, Gwinnett County. Meanwhile, creators of the show researched Alhonna resort and made a setup of the same in Georgia.
