Post the demise of Queen Elizabeth II, people are waiting with bated breath to see some kind of reconciliation between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and the Royal Family. The crown servants and the royal loyalists are hoping for the family to reunite in the moment of grief and pay respect to the last monarch.

There were some family moments during the Queen’s service as well that further added fuel to the reconciliation rumors. Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate offered an olive branch to Harry and Meghan as the four walked outside Windsor Castle to greet the mourners. Meanwhile, King Charles III also acknowledged his younger son and wife in his first speech as the new monarch. The royal author and journalist Daniela Elser has now given an update on the situation, and it is not something many people will like.

Elser reckoned that the Royal Family pushing Harry and Meghan to the second row during Queen’s state funeral has further deteriorated the situation. At this moment, both the House of Windsor and Sussex royals are not ready to take any step forward to reunite the family. The continuing rift could also have something to do with the fact that Prince Harry has not shelved his memoir where he will throw a lot of truth bombs about the royal family.

“With the Palace having lumped Harry and Meghan in the second row during Monday’s service at Westminster Abbey and with no indication that Harry might shelve his memoir, no one seems willing to give an inch,” Elser stated.
