The newly appointed monarch King Charles III has the gigantic task of making a decision over his younger son Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle. The royal watchers and the crown servants are eagerly waiting to know what lies ahead for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after the demise of Queen Elizabeth II.
A lot of people are hoping for the family to reunite in times of grief. Harry and Meghan stepped down as working royals in 2020 to live an independent life in California. What followed after that was a series of accusations and statements against the House of Windsor. However, the presence of the Sussex couple in the Queen’s service indicated that not everything was finished between the couple and the royal family. With all the speculations floating regarding the future of Harry and Meghan, Royal documentarian Nick Bullen also gave his two cents.
King Charles III to mend the relationship with Harry and Meghan?
True Royalty TV co-founder Nick Bullen believes that King Charles III offered Harry and Meghan an Olive branch just as a member of the royal family. In his first speech as a monarch, His Majesty sent his love and warmth to the former working royals. Recalling the speech, Bullen highlighted that King Charles has accepted the fact that the Duke and Duchess have made a life away from home in California. Thus, there will be no amends from his side to bring back the couple as working royals.
“As you know, Harry and Meghan have made it very clear that’s not a role they want. So I think the olive branch is a family olive branch. It’s not an olive branch to rejoin the working royals,” the award-winning documentarian who has worked with the King for over ten years told Fox News.
King Charles III’s relationship with Meghan Markle?
Nick Bullen also reflected on King Charles III’s take on the relationship between Harry and Meghan. The royal expert revealed that King and Queen Consort were incredibly welcoming of the former American actress. They wanted nothing more than Harry’s happiness.
However, the departure of the Sussex royals was a major setback for the King. The monarch is extremely sad to get separated from his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet. According to Bullen, King Charles III is the one who wants to see his family united more than anyone else.
