Over the years, Netflix has given us some of the finest films and series with a cast of super-popular actors. Olivia Coleman and Claire Foy in The Crown is a great example of bringing together some of the most talented actors. Likewise, one of Netflix’s original projects starred two of the most prominent and talented actors of their generations. Netflix’s detective drama film, Enola Holmes, featured the Man of Steel AKA Henry Cavill and Millie Bobby Brown. And now with a sequel on the way, the streamer has released a new poster featuring the duo.

Premiered back in 2020, Enola Holmes became a super-successful movie for Netflix. Over its first four weeks of release, the project became one of the most watched shows on the streaming platform, with an estimated 76 million households watching the film. And now after some time of its release, the drama film is all set to make its comeback with a sequel. Here is all you need to know about the film’s new poster and the fresh faces making their way on the show.

The gang is all here, and they are ready to solve crimes. The streamer recently dropped a new poster on Twitter for the upcoming sequel along with some tacky lines. However, the fresh batch of character posters entirely focuses on the Holmes Family. The first poster is of Brown in her Enola Holmes avatar with the caption, “Meet the Holmeses (again).” On the poster it writes, “You can’t handle the sleuth.”

Following that is Henry Cavill as Sherlock Holmes. With a perfect posture and a neatly pressed white button-up shirt, comes a catchy tag line, “Get closer to Holmes.“

Lastly, the streamer released the poster of the eccentric Eudoria Holmes (Helena Bonham Carter). With arms on her hips, Eudoria stands proudly in her brown suit. Her picture had the tagline, “Mother of a movement.” 

Who are the new characters in Enola Holmes 2?

While Sam Claflin will not renew his role as Mycroft Holmes, the sequel for the film is likely to have a bunch of new faces, including British actress Sharon Duncan Brewster and The Sandman fame, David Thewlis.

Additionally, the sequel will also feature Serrana Su-Ling Bliss and The Pact actress, Abbie Hern.
