“Life support system hooked up to teeth”: When Ryan Reynolds Reacted In The Most Ryan Way To His First Ever Show’s Clip
Handsome, hilarious, and happening! Ryan Reynolds is undoubtedly one of the goofiest actors in the industry. With natural wit, gifted comic timing, and of course, a bucket full of talent, the actor has made a separate place in our hearts. Notably, the celebutante, who now has a net worth of $15 million, embarked on this beautiful journey only when he was thirteen.
Well, revisiting our childhood achievements is a fun ride for each and every one of us, and unsurprisingly, the 45-year-old Canadian actor is nothing different. Going down memory lane with none other than Jimmy Fallon, the Deadpool alum was more than beguiled to see his younger self play one of his very first roles in Fifteen. If you aren’t aware, the 90s high school drama is chapter one in the Ryan Reynolds saga. He plays the annoying young Billy Simpson, one of only four actors to remain with the drama for its full 65-episode run.

Reynolds plays a bothersome younger sibling, aspiring bad boy, and budding drummer, and infrequently plays practical jokes (Well that’s his thing). The drama might as well work perfectly fine as Deadpool’s purged origin story. And it will have you caught up in no time for sure. It certainly made the actor’s jaw drop, and yet the Merc with a Mouth reacted in the most hilarious way possible.
As you can see in the interview clip above, his reaction was enough to pre-conceive that something jocular was coming our way. And then he shot, “I was actually just a life support system hooked up to teeth at that age.” No, we are not laughing like a maniac; you are! Fallon then continued on the joke/sarcasm by saying that Reynolds really had a good set of choppers back then. Adding to it, The Adam Project’s grown-up version said, “Yeah, I guess you kind of grow into your teeth.”
