Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have been engaged in a prank war for years. This has produced amusing outcomes, as Ryan once developed a political ad campaign to bring Hugh down. Hugh previously collaborated with Jake Gyllenhaal. But their most amusing match came two years ago. Ryan inadvertently interrupted Hugh’s X-Men reunion chat on Zoom. He even brought some buddies!

Even after two years since the crash, the video is as funny as when it was first released. Let us take a look at how Ryan tried to become an X-Men.

Ryan Reynolds wanted to be included in an X-Men meet badly

The actors of the early X-Men films gathered together on Zoom. Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Halle Berry, and Famke Janssen reprised their roles as Wolverine, Professor X, Storm, and Jean Grey, respectively. But little did they know that someone else was about to attend the celebration, and that person was Ryan Reynolds. Of course, he wasn’t alone, as he was accompanied by Sophie Turner and James McAvoy.

Seeing so many timelines together was really confusing even for Famke, but Ryan had a witty reply for her. “It’s just like the X-Men Movie, it doesn’t matter,” said The Adam Project actor making everyone pretty awkward. Almost all of the actors departed the reunion, embarrassed, one by one, starting with Sophie, who thought she was joining a Game Of Thrones reunion, leaving Reynolds and Jackman alone.

The shocks didn’t stop there. “You know what that makes this a reunion for?” Reynolds said. The conversation was then joined by Liev Schreiber, who played Sabretooth in Origins:” ‘X-Men: Origins,’ reunite! Yeah,” Schreiber explained. The video was part of a charity skit for Global Citizen during the initial waves of Covid-19 back in June 2020. Hugh even came to the scene after the act concluded to honor healthcare workers – the true daily superheroes.
