How Would a Friendship Between ‘The Sandman’ and ‘The Batman’ Look Like

Characters from DC Universe have a whole separate cult. Now that Netflix has landed the masterpiece fantasy series, The Sandman, the fans have gone crazy. The journey through the other universe is only possible through the extraordinary DC characters. Fans have always talked about the crossover of other DC characters as there is a reference to them in Neil Gaiman’s original comic series.

However, Gaiman has cleared the doubts of the fans regarding the crossover in the Netflix Original series. While we go through the journey of Morpheus and his quest for his tools, one cannot stop thinking about the possibility of Dream and Batman’s friendship. Both of them work at night only and both of them belong to the same DC Universe. Thus, what if The Sandman and The Batman would be friends? What would it look like?

The Sandman befriends The Batman

The Sandman starring Tom Sturridge is a hit fantasy series on Netflix. However, the DC character Batman has also come to life in the movie titled The Batman starring Robert Pattinson. Robert is known for his iconic vampire role in the Twilight saga. And now, we know him as Batman. As we have been expecting the friendship between these two characters, here is the possibility:

If we cannot see them together on screen like this, here they are, together. When the one who already is the Dream, and another who is the dream of many, are best friends. Seeing them together, fans shared a picture of young Spiderman and Dream.

However, Tom and Robert are indeed best friends. Fans are assuming they might send each other voice notes in their respective characters’ voices as well. As much as we want the second season of The Sandman, we want these two amazing actors together as well.

While the original comic has references to other DC characters, fans need this duo as Morpheus and Batman to come together in season. However, there isn’t any official announcement of the second season from Neil Gaiman nor from the streaming giant.
