Henry Cavill is one of the greatest actors of our generation. Over the years, Cavill has cemented himself as one of the most entertaining performers. The versatility in the role Cavill plays is unmatched. From the Geralt of Rivia in the fantasy series The Witcher to Sherlock Holmes in Enola Holmes, the British actor has given some very memorable roles to the audience. However, the list of the actor’s memorable roles is incomplete without Cavill as the Man Of Steel.

Henry Cavill’s Superman is undeniably one of the most popular superhero characters there is. Seeing Cavill in the Kryptonian suit is an experience that only comes once in a century. The character enjoys a massive following worldwide and among the many fans of Cavill’s Superman, one is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The actor recently made his superhero debut in Black Adam and expressed his views on Cavill’s Superman.

Over the past few months, Cavill’s return as Superman had been making the headlines repeatedly. Time and again, the rumors of Cavill donning his Superman suit were making the rounds. And it finally happened as Superman returned with a cameo scene and as we all know Dwayne Johnson had a major role in bringing back Cavill to DCEU.

Previously, during the digital release of Black Adam, the actor spoke about why he was eager to bring back Cavill and called him the greatest actor to play Superman. Johnson spoke, “Henry Cavill is our generation’s Superman and, in my opinion, the greatest Superman.”  

Adding to that, Johnson expressed his respect towards Christopher Reeve’s version of Superman. The Red Notice actor continued, “I mean that respectfully to the other actors, especially Christopher Reeve, but Henry is the greatest Superman of all time.”

As of late, the news of the sequel to Cavill’s Man Of Steel has been recently making the headlines. However, CEO of the DC franchise James Gunn cleared the air. The Suicide Squad director revealed that no one knows what is happening in DCEU except him.
