In an Instagram post, artist Skull101ify posted his idea of what the newest antagonist could look like. The artist gave Brainiac the voice of The Boys actor Giancarlo Esposito.
The actor plays Dr. Edgar in the action fiction series and is known for his roles in Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Maze Runner, etc. The post has a still photo of Brainiac with Esposito’s voice. Now, Brainiac was considered a potential villain for Man of Steel 2 by Zack Snyder as well. Although the director for a sequel has not been announced yet, DC studios head James Gunn is a top contender for it.
When Henry Cavill appeared in the post-credits of Black Adam, it marked the beginning of his return. Since the Dwayne Johnson movie did not make as big as expected, a lot is riding for DC with Man of Steel 2 now. The movie has a lot of confirmations to make and has no set release date yet.
