Yoon Chan Young Is Just as Clueless as to the Fans About His Character Cheong San Death in All of Us Are Dead Finale

Korean dramas are keeping the lights on at the Netflix headquarters. A case in point is the massive K-zombie hit series, All of Us Are Dead after Squid Game. The series had an open ending, leaving fans baffled about a lot of things. One question, however, tops the rest: What will happen to Cheong San in All of Us Are Dead? It appears that Yoon Chan Young is just as clueless about his character as we are. 

Yoon Chan Young: Personally, I’d like to live

The 20-year-old actor Yoon Chan Young who portrays Cheong San in the series made the revelation that he has no idea what is going to happen to his character in season 2 of All of Us Are Dead. He wants Cheong San to live because he feels he still has a lot to say. To be honest, I don’t know. I haven’t heard about what happens next, and nothing has been decided yet. Personally, I’d like to live. I’d like to be able to say things that I didn’t get to say.

Not to mention, his romance with On Jo didn’t even blossom properly. The guy definitely has too much-unfinished business in the zombie universe!

Director, Lee Jae Gyu reassured the fans that the hit series is going to return for a second season to explore the different kinds of zombies. He mentioned that the second season will have immortals and hambies. This further indicates that Nam Ra, Cheong San, Gwi Nam, and even On Jo fall within these categories. In season 1 hambies were the half zombies like Gwi Nam and Nam Ra. However, there was none that was immune to the virus. On Jo could be one as she was scratched in the first episode but didn’t turn

Cheong San’s corpse wasn’t found 

Being one of the leading characters in the show, Cheong San cannot die. His friends didn’t find his body at the site. The camera focuses on his name tag to mislead viewers into thinking that he’s dead.

Cheong San didn’t turn after Gwi Nam bit him. He took his sweet time to get a kiss from On Jo before he sacrificed himself. So, perhaps, our favorite high schooler may still be alive or be a Hambie. What do you think? Don’t shy away from sharing your thoughts in the comments below.
