When the first installment, 365 Days, dropped on the platform years back, it quickly climbed up the ranks on Netflix. It was right next to Fifty Shades of Grey in terms of steamy scenes. Although the critics ripped the film, it ended up on the list of guilty pleasure movies for many. And thanks to its popularity amongst the viewers, it got a sequel as well. 365 Days 2 or 365 Days: This Day dropped on the platform on April 27th, and like the actors, the filming locations are gorgeous!

Poland and Italy served as the filming locations for 365 Days: This Day

365 Days: This Day filming locations mostly included Poland and Italy, which explains why the backdrops were so romantic. The majority of the movie takes place in the province of Mazowieckie, Poland. The largest and the capital city of Poland, Warsaw was used as a backdrop. The picturesque city lies right on the banks of River Vistula. It offers plenty of gourmet restaurants, huge romantic mansions, and an art and club scene for the artists in town. It’s a city that has something to offer everyone. Interestingly, the first movie was also shot here.

The second production site was Sicily in Italy. Sicily plays an integral part in the narrative. Since Massimo’s roots are from Sicily, it was a given that the character would revisit the place time and again. The city welcomes tourists with some delectable cuisine, grand architecture, and pristine beaches.

Are we going to get a third movie?

The first movie followed a Sicilian gangster, Massimo who abducts Laura and gives her only a year to fall in love with her. And as we all know, she develops Stockholm syndrome and falls for him. When everything was going well for the couple, the film ends on a cliffhanger. The second installment picks up from there. It introduced a new character, Nacho who kidnaps Laura AGAIN. Now, Massimo has to save his lady love from this mysterious stranger.

The second film is based on Blanka Lipinska’s second book in the trilogy. So there’s more to come. Netflix has already greenlit a third installment.
