Angourie Rice, the 21-year-old Australian actress who plays Stephanie Conway in Senior Year, has acted in a number of successful films in recent years.
The now successful actress began her career in the year 2012 with the short film Transmission. Her portrayal was immensely applauded in the film which helped her bag a few local film festival awards.
From there, she started getting roles in other low-budget films like These Final Hours. Her performance in the film was absolutely stunning. And she was able to take on many more mature roles than before.
However, her breakout role was in the 2016′s The Nice Guys. In the film, she plays the quick and smart daughter of Ryan Gosling. Rice is a pure treat in the film. It was her performance in the film that put her on the list of many top casting directors in Hollywood.
From there, she continued to rule over the thriller genre. Her performance in the 2017 mystery thriller Jasper Jones particularly helped her to prove that she was capable of comedic roles and more mature series roles.
But her real maturity can be seen in the Kristen Dunst starer’s The Beguiled. The movie helped Rice to bag the biggest role of her career till now: the MCU Spider-Man trilogy.
Since 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, Rice has reprised her role as Betty Brand in all three Spider-Man films.
Rice shall again be seen on the silver screen in the Senior Year on Netflix, releasing May 13th.
