THIS Season 1 Scene May Have Suggested Ciri Meeting Ihuarraquax in ‘The Witcher’ Season 3
The Witcher world is so diverse, extensive, and rich that each of its new seasons gives every reason to fans to gasp at. The series focuses on three main character arcs, namely Geralt of Rivia, Yennefer of Vengerberg, and Princess Cirilla of Cintra. However, the upcoming season will be about Ciri finding her place in The Witcher world. Based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s books of the same name, the series has made a separate place in our hearts. And ever since we came to know that the third season, we haven’t skipped a single detail about it to keep you updated.
Earlier, we did tell you that Ciri and the Unicorn from Time of Contempt will cross their paths in Korath Desert in The Witcher season 3. Yes, indeed, the series doesn’t shy away from staying true to the novels. And they do it rather gracefully. Ciri is prophesied to be the destroyer of the Witcherverse and usher in a new age. She has seen a lot of visions of her past and future. Probably those visions lead her forward to fulfill the prophecy. So do you think maybe Ciri knew she would meet Ihuarraquax at some point since the first season?

Well, if you have a nice memory, you would agree with us it’s not the first time Ciri is lost in the desert. Back in season 1 of The Witcher, we saw her hallucinating after drinking waters of Brokilon from the source. Shan-Kayan tree, the source, induces her into a vision of the desert where she hears a tender female voice asking, “What are you, child?”
Although they never bring up this anecdote again in the drama; Showrunner Lauren Hissrich promised viewers in a first-season behind-the-scenes teaser that the tree would not be forgotten. She said, “as the series continues, much, much later, we’re gonna start to get into exactly what voice was speaking to her and what agenda that voice has. It’s a mystery, actually, that we’re gonna keep building up throughout the series.” Is it possible Lauren was hinting at none other than Ihuarraquax? Will the unicorn’s voice be female in the series? It’s certainly a possibility.
