“The way to look at a new season in Bridgerton is the way that the ton itself would look at a new season” Here’s All That Is New in Bridgerton Season 2
ShootiShonda Rhimes production, Bridgerton, returns for a season 2 on March 25. The drama is characterized by the ornate costumes, sets, the perfect hairstyles, masquerade balls, and lots of steamy scenes. And the trailer has teased that more is to come this season. According to Erika Ökvist, hair and makeup designer, “Last season will always be last season, and a new season is just another opportunity to shine as bright as they can, to impress as many as they can.”

As per the reports, the Sharma sisters will be adding lots of drama in one particular Bridgerton’s life. These ladies will be a guest at Lady Dunbury’s, and their entrance will set the stage for a love triangle.
The costumes
Shonda had the creative team design 700 costumes in total for all the main characters! 146 of them will be featured on the very first episode of Bridgeton season 2!
Debutante Eloise will be donning a new look. “With Eloise’s day wear, I intentionally used stripes, checks, and small self-patterned fabrics, which provide a more masculine look than the floral fabrics of the ton,” said costume designer, Sophie Canale.
“Her true transformation is her ball and evening wear, which can be seen in her blue ball gown, worn for her first ball of the season.”
The costume designer also worked on Anthony’s looks to give him a more “grown-up” and “less complicated” look. While Queen Charlotte’s looks will remain “big”, “outrageous” and “fabulous”.

Balls and Races
The entire creative team, Hughes Jones, Canale, and Erika came together to create the most lavish balls-this season having four balls. The shooting took place for all the balls indoors except for the Hearts and Flowers Ball. It was filmed at Syon Park’s Great Conservatory.
