‘The Ultimatum’ From the Creators of ‘Love Is Blind’ on Netflix Is Another Social Experiment in Dating Where Contestants Swap Partners
Nick and Vanessa Lachey invite the contestant to The Ultimatum with the introductory line, “You’re here because someone in your relationship has issued an ultimatum. One partner is ready to get married, and the other isn’t sure.” Right on the heels of the Love is Blind reunion, Netflix revealed the trailer for the next dating show, The Ultimatum. Featuring a new cast, the show’s trailer looks promising with plenty of fights, drama, romance, and heartbreak. The trailer dropped on March 4. Although definitely inspired by its predecessor, Love is Blind, this show is going to tackle the question: Can you be happy with someone else?

Netflix show The Ultimatum Format
Coming from the creators of Love is Blind, both Nick and Vanessa Lachey will be back in the hosts’ seats. Unlike the pod dating show, the reality show will be bringing in 6 couples. They will push their relationship to the limit in hopes that they’ll tie the knot. The 6 couples will swap partners, each choosing a new partner at the end of one week. They are going to be a part of a trial marriage for three weeks. At the end of the social experiment, the couples will have to decide whether they want to walk down the aisle or split up for good.
