Daredevil and a bunch of marvel shows like Jessica Jones will be leaving Netflix on March 1st. It is surely disappointing news for Marvel fans, but it also means the streamer will be losing a lot of subscribers. Daredevil now comes with a disclaimer on top that the show is exiting the platform soon. So, you better have your fill of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders, and The Punisher before they are gone.

Netflix will no longer hold the rights for Daredevil and the rest of the MCU shows after the end of February. The rights go back to Disney. The streaming giant had signed a deal with Marvel that allowed them to retain the rights to these darker MCU shows, two years after their official release. Daredevil last season premiered in 2018, and despite being popular, fans were dismayed to learn that it was canceled. It has also been two years since Jessica Jones debuted on the platform.

Where can you stream Daredevil after it is taken off Netflix?

Neither Disney nor Marvel has commented on where Daredevil will be available next. MCU fans speculate that Daredevil along with other MCU series will be available on Hulu or Disney + next. Daredevil is a much darker and grittier show than the general MCU fare. Disney’s audience is primarily kids and families so a show like Daredevil may not be added to its catalog. Whereas HULU might acquire the rights to the show to get an edge in the streaming competition.

Which MCU shows are not leaving, yet?

Although Netflix subscribers have to prepare themselves to say goodbye to Daredevil, you can heave a sigh of relief as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., LEGO Marvel and X-MEN will not be leaving the platform anytime soon. At least that is what we think. These shows still don’t have any disclaimer on top. So it is a good enough sign that they will be here beyond February.
