As we said, love stories are a perfect getaway from chaotic lives to the life of our dreams. One such movie that takes you on this romantic journey is the Netflix Original, That’s Amore. It is a romantic comedy that seems pretty ordinary at once. But if you look closely, the treatment of the plot is enjoyable. What would you do if you were in your mid-30s, recently lost a job, and are single? It would make you a little frustrated and a lot more desperate, right? You will soon change your mind after watching this rom-com.

The plot of the movie follows the story of Sofia, who loses her job, along with her boyfriend. She has to start from scratch to build her life again. But fortunately, she has an amazing mother who is always there by her side. Despite having normal mother-daughter fights, they are always there for each other, just like Cassie and her mother in Purple Hearts. They both even sign up for a cooking class where Sofia meets Matias. Before you know it, they are in love, and we feel so good to see them together.

The movie represents hopefulness and portrays a perfect love story. Just when you think it is over, it is exactly the time something unimaginable happens to you, which happened with Sofia, and so did with Cassie in Netflix’s #1 movie, Purple Hearts. She never expected to fall in love with Luke, nor did Luke ever think about loving Cassie. They both just went with the flow and fell in love. Even Cassie and Luke hated each other in the beginning. But we witnessed the perfect love story of two totally opposite people. The same is the case with Sofia and Matias in That’s Amore.
