There’s another Resident Evil live-action series in cards for us this year. Only this time, it is coming to Netflix. The Capcom survival horror franchise had inspired six feature films with Mila Jovovich in the lead before. There was another reboot Welcome to Racoon City, Netflix’s Infinite Darkness, and six more Japanese adaptations. Andrew Dabb (Supernatural) is helming the latest adaptation with a cast all set to play your favorite characters from the franchise. Let’s get to know the Resident Evil Netflix cast, and find out who plays whom.

Meet the Resident Evil Netflix cast  

• Lance Riddick as Albert Wesker 

The actor was part of the John Wick franchise, in which he played the role of Charon. He is also known for essaying the role of General Caulfield in White House Down beside Channing Tatum. Moreover, the man has dabbled in TV before. He appeared as Irvin Irving in Bosch. In the live-action series, he’ll play the notorious virologist, Albert Wesker, who has close ties with the Umbrella Corporation. 

• Ella Balinska as Adult Jade 

The Resident Evil live-action series on Netflix added Ella Balinska to the cast as adult Jade Wesker. She had played Jane Kano, in Charlie’s Angels (2019) alongside Naomi Scott and Kristen Stewart. Moreover, she also acted in Run Sweetheart Run and was Nyela Malik on The Athena, a TV show from 2018 to 2019. In the live-action, she is Wesker’s daughter, Jade Wesker, who was born as a result of a genetic experiment.

• Tamara Smart as Young Jade 

Tamara Smart plays the child version of Jade in Netflix adaptation of Resident Evil. In her pretty short career, the young actor was a part of the Disney movie, Artemis Fowl. She also had a role in the TV show, The Worst Witch, Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Hard Sun. Her most recent credits include a role in Netflix’s A Babysitter’s Guide to Monster Hunting. 

• Siena Agudong as younger Billie 

Siena Agudong is reportedly going to play Billie Wesker in the live-action series, the half twin of Jade Wesker. She is yet another Netflix alumni to join the Resident Evil cast. The actress appeared as Nick in the streamer’s original production, No Good Nick. She starred in the TV movie, Upside-down Magic. Her most notable projects so far include F9: The Fast Saga and Hawaii Five-0. 

• Adeline Rudolph 

The streamer has kept Adeline’s role a secret. But according to IMDb, she will appear in 1 episode of the live-action series. Her resume includes Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Riverdale. In the former, she essayed Agatha while in the latter she played Minerva Marble. 

• Paola Nuñez 

Paola has embodied several roles in her acting career but her most notable roles include Will Smith’s Bad Boys for Life and The Purge. She also appeared as Manuela Cortés Santos in La Reina Del Sur and Maria Garcia in The Son. The Mexican actress has mostly appeared in TV shows. While her name was part of the Netflix Resident Evil live-action series cast announcement, her role isn’t known yet. 

• Ahad Raza Mir as Arj 

Son of actor Asif Raza Mir, Azad Raza Mir is a South Asian actor, singer, and producer who is popular for starring in Hindi/Urdu films and shows. He starred in Parwaaz Hai Junoon as AVM Haider and as Dr, Asfandyar Ali Khan in Yakeen Ka Safar. His TV series include Hum Tum, Dhoop ki Deewar, and Edh-e-Wafa. He plays Arj in the horror series. 

• Connor Gosatti

Interestingly, Connor appears in all 8 episodes of the live-action, but his role is unknown. The actor doesn’t have too many acting credits to his name. However, he had roles in 3rd Night, Midnight Ticket, and What We See. The live-action is probably his biggest role yet. 

• Turlough Convery

Just like Connor, Convery’s role is under wraps. Therefore, we won’t know what role he’s going to play until the series premiere. He had a small role in Black Mirror as Stingray. He was Liam in My Mad Fat Diary, Tom Harry in Poldark, Grantaire in Les Miserables, Bear in Killing Eve, and Henry Norris in Anne Boleyn. Most recently, he appeared in Belfast and Sanditon. He was also in Saint Maud and The Current War: Director’s Cut.

According to the trailer, Resident Evil will follow two timelines – 2022 and 2036. The eight-part series will drop on the platform on July 14th.
