The popular superhero series, Raising Dion, is back with a second season. The series revolves around the struggles of a single mom and her bid to keep her son safe. After the death of her husband, Mark (Michael B. Jordan), Nicole (Alisha Wainwright) shoulders the responsibilities of her family. However, her son, Dion (Ja’Siah Young), starts developing superpowers. Throughout the series, Dion gets familiar with his newfound powers while Nicole protects him from any harm.

In the latest season, Nicole gets infected after being attacked by a monster in a sinkhole formed by crooked energy. However, Dion, with the help of his powers and an antidote vial, defeats the crooked energy that results in curing Nicole. The second season was released just a few days ago on 1st February. What happened in season 2?

This season houses more thrilling threats to Dion and his loved ones. Greater crooked energy, poisonous flowers, mind control, evil monsters, and plenty of emotions. Significantly, the second season proved to be a must-watch for superhero series lovers. Furthermore, this season had an epic finale that left the fans wondering about what will happen next in the series.

Although the stakes were pretty high this season, Dion and his incredible team defeats the evil energy and save lives, including his mom’s. Is Raising Dion season 3 confirmed?

Well, considering that season 2 premiered on Monday 1st February, it is still too early for an update on season 3. We can’t expect a season 3 announcement from Netflix just yet. The reason being that the streaming platform usually announces programmes after viewing the data of the previous season. However, there is a lot of scope for another season following the thrilling plot of season 2.

Despite her death being inevitable, by trusting in Dion’s abilities, Nicole is alive and healthy at the end of season 2. However, as the show emphasizes, “energy never dies”, and thus, the fight with the crooked energy isn’t over yet. The crooked energy makes its way back to Pat. It is highly possible that the third season might revolve around Pat’s evil powers. Chiefly, another sign of a season 3 is the chilling post-credits scene in season 2. The sequence gives us a glimpse of a fight between Pat and Dion.
