Say what you may about the Byrde family but one thing they do well is to stick together no matter what. The beauty of relationships on Ozark is that they are honest and genuine. You forget that you are watching a show every time you watch the family interact. It is even more the case in Ozark season 4. So it is safe to say that people thought they might be related together. But are they?

Jonah and Charlotte- Their story until Ozark season 4 part 1

Since the show first started premiering back in 2017, we all have watched the Byrde family grow and go through a lot. Two individuals who have grown a lot as characters are the siblings, Jonah and Charlotte. And now that the show is finally ending with season 4 part 2, Jonah and Charlotte have come a long way from where they started.

But now, there is a rift between the siblings. Jonah disapproves of their parents’ white-collared criminal activities and wants to leave all of this behind. However, Charlotte has started to like the life of crime and fully supports the family in their endeavors. The difference in opinions has put a lot of strain on the brother-sister relationship. But it is safe to say that Charlotte will be there whenever her brother needs her.

Jonah and Charlotte: real-life siblings or not?

Even though Jonah and Charlottes’ bond seems to be very real to the audience, the actors Sofia Hublitz and Skylar Gaertner aren’t related to each other in any way.

On June 1, 1999, Sofia was born in Richmond, Virginia, while Skylar was born in New York City on May 13, 2004. Sofias’ first appearance was in the first season of Master Chef Junior, and Skylar’s big break was when Steven Speilberg handpicked him for Locke & Key. Skylar has also starred in Netflix’s Daredevil.

The siblings didn’t have much authority to do what they wanted. They just followed what their parents asked them to do. But in the fourth season, it looks like the siblings will take center stage, with Charlotte even mimicking her mother in some way.
