Ever since he took over the oldest Welsh football club, Reynolds has taken various steps to promote football in Wales, along with the co-owner of Wrexham AFC, Rob McElhenney. The two even had a meet-up with King Charles III and Camilla, the Queen Consort, to discuss the redevelopment of Wrexham AFC. And shortly after his meet-up with the Royals, the Deadpool star turned into a bartender.

Ryan Reynolds turns into a bartender to celebrate Wrexham’s new city status
Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s dedication to promote Wrexham AFC and the Welsh culture is commendable. The Free Guy star’s love for the game knows no bounds. This is evident in his and his partner’s recent meet-up with the King and Queen to discuss the redevelopment and future prospects of Wrexham AFC. And soon after his link up with the Royals, the Aviation Gin investor turned into a bartender when he and McElhenney enjoyed a drink or two at The Turfs alongside its owner Wayne Jones.

Jones expressed his delight at finding a new bartender in Reynolds with his tweet, to which the Deadpool star Tweeted in reply, “I only know how to make an Aviation Gin with a splash of Aviation Gin.” Along with Reynolds was the Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia star Rob McElhenney, as the duo shared how it felt to meet the King and Queen Consort of England with ITV News’ Rhys Williams. Wrexham’s new city status was also the cause of much celebration for Wrexham AFC co-owners.

Popped in to The Turf for a quick drink with Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
Said they really enjoyed meeting the King and Queen consort.
They were celebrating Wrexham’s new city status but Rob insisted he’ll still chant “Up The Town”.

Reynolds and McElhenney have been pushing to promote the Welsh culture since they acquired the football club. Recently, the Welsh fans even sang a song while Rob joined the club supporters at a pub. The duo were even honored with a Dragon Award from the Welsh Government for their work.
