Why Was ‘Stranger Things’ Star Sadie Sink Missing From the Emmy Awards?
Sadie Sink and Millie Bobby Brown were undoubtedly the most appreciated actors in Stranger Things. Although every cast member of the series did a great job, especially since most of them are quite young. Each one of them deserved to walk down the red carpet. A few of them even did so during previous award shows. But if you tried to spot Sadie at this year’s Emmy, here is some news. For reasons she knows best, the actress skipped this year’s biggest TV award show.
Stranger Things has given four successful seasons so far, with a final one on the way. Right from the beginning, the series became a hit for its 80’s based, sci-fi concept and scary scenes that played over classic retro. The series got selected for a massive number of nominations even winning several of them. But Max and Eleven, the strong female leads did not get selected for their well-deserved recognition by the Emmys. This has opened the discussion about possible reasons why the cast remained absent from this year’s award show.

Possible reasons for Sadie Sink skipping the Emmys
Although Stranger Things is one of the hottest shows right now, actress Sadie Sink was missing from this year’s television biggest awards-The Emmys. Neither Sadie nor any other Stranger Things actor were nominated for their role in this year’s Emmys. Sadie gave an outstanding performance in the ‘Dear Billie’ episode in which she is confronted by her guilt over her stepbrother’s death. According to Stranger Things followers were mad about Emmy’s snub of both Sady Sink and her co-stars.

Although the Fear Street actress dazzled in her ravishing red dress on 9th September at the Toronto International Film Festival. On 11th September she was also clicked with Canadian singer Taylor Swift.
Maybe the actress chooses not to attend the Emmys knowing the fact that there are no awards incoming. Anyway, the actress has her plate full with the Final Season of Netflix’s Stranger Things as well as other projects like leading in the upcoming movie Dear Zoe.
