Inspired by her 2012 song of the same name, the film told the tale of a young woman’s dramatic love story. It became an instant success for the emotional depiction of love, separation, and heartache and received critical acclaim. Moreover, viewers were left enchanted by Sadie’s moving performance, who played this distraught and heartbroken character. Taylor Swift recently revealed why casting Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien was the perfect choice for her debut film.

Sadie Sink was the only actress Taylor Swift wanted to cast in All Too Well

Taylor Swift attended the Toronto International Film Festival on Friday, where she talked about her short film All Too Well. The famous pop star revealed the reason behind casting Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien. During the conversation, Swift was asked about why she only chose both of them for this painful saga of relationships.

The director answered, “I don’t know if it was a decision; it was what my heart needed.” Moreover, she praised both the actors saying that she had seen their acting and they were remarkable. And she had never seen them doing such a role, so she was deliberate about whether Sadie would do a romantic part. She specially wrote the movie for Sink and only imagined her as the fit character.

“I was writing it for Sadie, and if she would’ve said no, I just don’t know if I would’ve made the film,” admitted” Taylor Swift.

Meanwhile, the singer also talked about Dylan, who is a dangerously charming person. One can see that through his powerful acting in Teen Wolf and the Maze Runner series.
