The director of the film, Jeremiah Zagar, along with the team, scouted locations in various areas of the city. Melrose Diner
1501-1527 Snyder Ave.
This classic Philly diner is a food-filled montage, where Stan is having a conversation with his wife, Teresa, not long after NBA prospect Bo Cruz first arrives in Philly. Bo plays the game in many playgrounds. But when he played and got filmed the game on this playground, it went viral.
