Where Can You Watch Derry Girls Season 3 and the Special Finale Until It Comes on Netflix?
Be it the UK or US, people love Derry Girls. The response the show received from the fans resonated with the one that came from the critics: The show was brilliant. It became the most-watched show for Channel 4 and reached more than 54% of TV audience in Northern Ireland. After the first and the second season came in consecutively for two years, the pandemic slowed things down. But Derry Girls season 3 is finally here and Netflix will get it soon. When? Let’s find out.
When can you expect Derry Girls season 3 on Netflix? What are other options?
Derry Girls season one took really long to appear on Netflix US. After its initial release in the UK in February 2018, it took 11 months for Netflix to release the show in December, 2018. For season 2 though, it was a shorter wait but still long for fans. The show aired in August, 2019; four months after its UK release of April, 2019. If they follow the same pattern with the third season, the show could be on Netflix by September 2022, but we never know. Given the current financial crunch, the streamer may release it sooner.
