The supernatural series saw Henry playing a monster hunter, Geralt of Rivia. The silver-haired beast earned a lot of love from both critics and fans as Henry Cavill perfectly embodied the mental and physical manifestations of the character. “I think it’s about acceptance not of people or actions but acceptance of self and how things aren’t always gonna go as you planned, even if you wanted them that way. It’s about picking yourself up dusting, yourself off, and doing the best job regardless,” Cavill said while giving an interview to the YouTube channel Spot.ph.
Cavill also reflected on what his process is as an actor. For an artist, it is important to switch the brain off after the shoot and come back to real life. However, Henry is someone who can never turn his brain off. He constantly thinks about his characters and behaves like them, which is quite annoying for his team. He also admitted to living in a perpetual cycle of fantasy genre due to extensive reading.
