When Henry Cavill Shocked Will Smith at San Diego Comic-Con
Apart from saving humankind from threats, apparently, Henry Cavill likes to prank people too, especially A-listers like Will Smith. Cavill has become a pop culture icon in the past decade ever since he stepped into the role of Geralt of Rivia and DC’s Superman. In fact, he is even credited with establishing the DCEU with the first Man of Steel.
Whereas, Smith, although a superstar way before Cavill came along, is currently having a rough time. The star is still facing the aftermath of his actions at the Oscars. But there was a time in 2016 when both the actors were at their career best! And boy was it fun for the fans to see the candid interaction between the two.

Henry Cavill disguises himself, and it throws Will Smith off
Way back in 2016, before the Covid scare, DC had Suicide Squad coming out. The movie boasted a great cast from Margot Robbie to Smith. DC also had Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice in the pipeline. Both Henry Cavill and Will Smith were at the San Diego Comic-Con when the former decided to have a little fun.
The Brit disguised himself in a Guy Fawkes V for Vendetta Mask. He then entered the venue and took photos with fans before making his way to the panel. In a hilarious video, we see him take off the mask while posing for a snap with Smith.

Until then, Smith had no idea and was left completely flabbergasted. Cavill didn’t stop there; he continued going down the panel to meet the rest of the cast and have them sign his shirt. A true fan indeed!

Cavill enjoyed the prank a little too much as he posted the video on his Instagram as well. He even captioned it as the “best Comic Con ever!”

This was a fun throwback considering the Aladdin star didn’t come back for the Suicide Squad sequel in 2021. And Cavill’s status as Superman is making fans anxious after all the recent reports about him starring as Doctor Doom turned out false.
