From being a rom-com lead to being a superhero, Ryan Reynolds has showcased his versatility. The Canadian actor has given so many blockbuster movies, too. Currently, he is preparing for his upcoming installment of the Deadpool film. Meanwhile, there are some blockbuster movies that could have seen Reynolds if he agreed to be a part of them.

Like any other actor, the Red Notice actor was also offered a handful of movies that he turned out because of a variety of reasons. However, it was not a wise decision, as the films proved to be a hit at the box office.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Buffy is a 1992 movie. The Canadian actor was offered a role in the film but denied being a part of it because of his personal experiences.

In 2008, the 46-year-old actor opened up about the reason. He said because he had traumatic experiences in high school; he did not agree to be a part of the film.

The Flash

In the upcoming DC film, The Flash, Ryan Reynolds wanted to play a part. As reported by the IndieWire, the Canadian star revealed his willingness to play a part in The Flash. Back in 2004, David Goyer wanted to make the Flash film starring the Deadpool actor as the lead cast. However, because of some creative differences, Goyer had with Warner Bros, he left the project and it vanished.

Rock of Ages

Set in 1987, the movie followed the musical adventurous journey of Sherrie Christian. The movie saw the stars like Julianne Hough, Diego Boneta, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Bryan Cranston. The Proposal actor was offered to play the character that Diego Boneta played, Drew. However, Reynolds could not be a part of the film, and thus, the role went to Boneta.
