As we all are aware of, Reynolds is one of the most popular celebrity in Hollywood. He also owns a Welsh football club, Wrexham Association Football Club, along with Rob McElhenney. And it seems like the World Cup fever has reached the Free Guy actor as well. Recently, Canada qualified for the FIFA world cup after nearly 36 years after their previous appearance in 1986 and Reynolds goes all in supporting his country.

Ryan Reynolds takes a dig at Canadian soccer fans
Ryan Reynolds is a big soccer geek. Time and again, the Deadpool star is often seen attending various matches of his club, Wrexham Association Football Club. And since the beginning of the FIFA World Cup 2022, like every other Canadian, he is rooting for his country. Reynolds took to Twitter to demonstrate his support for Canada before a fan called him out. However, the actor was quick enough to respond like the witty person he is.

A fan called out Reynolds, asking him to work on his football bants. The Deadpool star unveiled a masterful deceit to trick the traditional fans. He responded, “We’re Canadian. We don’t drink the blood of our enemies. We politely sip.”

However, it is not the first time the Green Lantern actor openly expressed his support for the Canadian national team. Previously too, he took to Twitter even after the team lost to Belgium.
